CALCULATION OF MILL FILLING DEGREE FROM MEASURED POWER:

Estimation of ball mill filling degree from the mill dimensions, media/ore specific gravity, mill discharge percent solid, mill speed and power; based on the Morrell model (C-model). These calculations do not require mill entry, therefore they can be completed without stopping the mill to take measurements.
This web app estimates the filling degree corresponding to every measured power, and can be used for multiple power readings.

NB: Unrealistic mill speed, absorbed power values or other input parameters will not provide reliable calculated filling degrees.

To use:
✅Enter the mill dimensions.
✅Specify whether it's a grate or an overflow discharge type mill.
✅Enter the grinding ball specific gravity (e.g., 7.8 or 7.64).
✅Enter the ore specific gravity (e.g., 2.7).
✅Enter the mill speed in rpm.
✅Enter the mill discharge percent solid.
✅Enter the measured power (more measurements on new rows/lines).
✅Click on Calculate and scroll down to see the results.
