PLANT RECOVERIES CALCULATIONS:

The recovery of a valuable element can be calculated from a number of formulae.
The last formula in the table below is less accurate as it only accounts for the feed and tailing assays (inaccurate flow split).
Where flow rates are unavailable, the two product formula (fourth formula) is an acceptable recovery estimation.

To use:
  • Enter the dates (or sample names), and available assays and/or tonnage data for each day.

  • The assays values (and weights or throughput if available). Note that the first and last days (first and last rows) must not be empty.
    The other rows can be empty if no data are available on particular days.



  • Select the formula to be used based on available asays and tonnage data.

  • Click on "Calculate" to calculate the recoveries with the selected formula .
