REAGENTS CALCULATIONS:
Knowing and adding the correct amount of reagent is critical in metallurgy. Some guidelines for copper and nickel flotation can be found at the flotation.app website.
In plant operations, the throughput changes with time, consequently, the reagent flow rate (L/min) should correspond to the desired dosage rate (grams of reagent per tonne of ore).
The same principle applies to laboratory batch tests where the volume of reagent solution (mL) added should achieve the target dosage rate (g/t).

To use:
✅Enter the solid throughput (plant) or solid weight (lab).
✅Provide the reagent strength (e.g., 10%).
✅Enter either the reagent flow rate (or volume) OR the dosage rate.
✅Click on "Calculate flow rate/volume" OR "calculate dosage" to calculate the corresponding amount of reagent.
The dosage rate is calculated from the reagent flow rate (plant) or volume (laboratory).
The reagent flow rate (plant) or volume (laboratory) is calculated from the dosage rate.
