By size recoveries

Mineral Processing App

SIZE BY SIZE RECOVERIES:

In metallurgy, knowing the recoveries by size fractions is very helpful in identifying potential losses and corresponding optimisation strategies.
This tool also provides some information about the elemental distribution in the feed for each size fraction.

To use:
Use the emelental to mineral conversion tool to calculate the iron sulphides (IS) and non sulphide gangues (NSG) assays.
  • Enter the concentrate and tailing' size fractions in the first columns of the tables below.

  • Enter the concentrate and tailing dry weights per size fraction in the second columns (if none, write 0).

  • Provide the assays per size fraction (leave empty if non applicable).

  • Click on "Recovery by Size" button to calculate recoveries and plot graph.

  • An example can be seen on this Youtube video.

    WITH THE GRAPHS:
  • Single click on one data series from the legend to view/unview it.

  • Double click on one data series from the legend to show only one series.

  • Double click again to show all data series.

  • You can also edit the graphs' titles, axes titles, zoom in, zoom out, pan, auto-scale and export the results using the toolbar at the top of each graph.
